Step 7.Because we have used a waterproof pen,
we can color up our raptor in a variety of media, watercolor, poster paints or even felt tip markers.
As no one knows what color dinosaurs were, we can use what ever colors we choose. I've chosen a rich
orange.

If you notice, on the claws, I have used a mid-blue as a secondary color to add depth to the highlight, the eyes are yellow with a green shadow under the lid.

Step 8. Finally we can add a little camouflage, like tiger stripes, or spots, what ever you like. To add a few finishing touches to our picture, we can touch up the high - lights in the eyes and claws with a little white paint, or even a correction pen.


Don't forget you can use these principles to draw just about any dinosaur you like.
